The walk begins at The Mount Vineyard's Ten Acres Shop, where you can purchase a warming coffee before setting off. From there, the route leads through the dormant vines and up into the woodland above Shoreham Village. Along the way, you'll pause at the Shoreham Cross to enjoy far-reaching winter views across the Darent Valley, stretching towards Sevenoaks and beyond. With the trees bare, the landscape opens up to reveal vistas often hidden during the warmer months. The trail then winds through beautiful woodland, including areas of ancient woodland, where you'll discover the quiet beauty of the winter countryside and the frost-kissed landscape. Look out for seasonal wildlife and enjoy the crisp air and peaceful atmosphere that make this time of year so special.
