You will then walk through Shoreham Village and into the fields beneath the Shoreham Cross. Exactly what is available will depend on the weather over the summer, but you will hopefully be able to find wild herbs, blackberries, sloes and perhaps even the odd hazelnut. \u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"MsoNormal\"\u003e\u003cspan lang=\"EN-GB\"\u003e\u003cspan style=\"mso-spacerun: yes;\"\u003eWe will continue along the Darent Valley path until reaching the apple orchard at Castle Farm where, as long as the fruit is ripe, for a small charge, you will be able to pick a few delicious Norfolk Royals, a heritage variety of apple, grown only here. We'd also advise wearing long trousers as the grass will be quite long at that time of year.
